care for mom after bowel perforation

Hello facebook friends and family. Some of you may know or have heard that my mother had emergency surgery due to a bowel perforation Nov 16th. When I got the call at 5am explaining what had happened and that my mom could possibly not make it due to abdominal sepsis being very fatal. I did what any son would do jumped up and headed to Louisville Norton Audubon hospital to be by her side. Through 2.5 weeks on ventilator 3 major surgeries many sleepless nights and worrisome mornings By the grace of God she survived. She now has a new way of life with a colostomy bag which has been hard for her to deal with because after surgery she never gained back full use of her left hand. Because of this I’m unable to work at the moment due to caring for my mother. I have to be there to be sure she eats, takes medicines 3 times a day, showers, and changing the colostomy bag. I’m thankful I’ve been able to make it this far without asking for help but I know I’ll need help going forward to make ends meet until shes able to care for herself and I can get back to work. Anything is helpful and even more it’s greatly appreciated. If your unable to donate a prayer would mean just as much. Thank you
