Our family is asking for support for someone very special, Mac, our beloved sulcata tortoise.

Mac was recently diagnosed with pneumonia and now needs veterinary care, treatment, and ongoing support to recover. Caring for reptiles, especially large tortoises like Mac, can be very expensive, and the costs are quickly adding up.

This is all happening during an already incredibly difficult time. Just one month ago, my mom suddenly lost her husband, who was also Mac’s longtime owner and “dad.” His passing has been heartbreaking, and now the added stress of unexpected vet bills has created a heavy emotional and financial burden.

Mac is not just a pet. She is a cherished member of our family and has been a constant source of comfort, especially during this time of grief. We want to make sure she gets the care she needs to heal and continue being part of our lives.
