Hello,
My name is Julie. I grew up in Northern California where I found Lola about 6 years ago. We have recently relocated to Sacramento to be with my partner. I’ve had my furry companion Lola through all of my moves and adventures. She has always been joyful, playful and loves to eat her food. As of recently her desire for food has declined along with the desire to hydrate. After a few days of observing her heavily I noticed her skin had looked a bit yellow.
I then took her to a vet hospital that clarified the jaundice in her skin.
Unaware of the reason, but pancreatitis being a main scare along with the liver. She now will be in a veterinary hospital that is able to care for her, provide the necessary tests and help her road to being her best self again. That being said the cost of boarding, feeding tubes, IV treatment, testing and etc adds up very fast. I’m just looking for help to pay off my extremely expensive vet bill. I’m currently unsure of the road ahead, if that be medicated food or insulin. My goal is trying my best to make sure she will be okay and best taken care of. Thankful for the thoughtful words, reading this story but most thankful for any donation made.
update to story:
It breaks my heart to say she has since went to the rainbow bridge. There was lots of bad news with the bloodwork, scans and ultrasounds. Making her comfortable rather than going through surgery’s and possibly chemo that’s not only unfair but costly.
the donations will go to paying off the bills left with.
