Care for Kenz

On Thursday January 20, 2022, Mackenzie Sinner was hit by a car around 9:30 am while walking to class at Winona State University. She is a 19-year-old sophomore studying Accounting. She was brought by ambulance to a Winona hospital, and then airlifted to Gundersen Lutheran Medical Center in La Crosse, where she is currently. Kenzie suffers from several skull fractures and a traumatic brain injury. She is also recovering from a broken tibia, fibula, and clavicle on her right side. We are blessed by God’s grace to still have her here with us, but she has a very long road to recovery. I am setting up this GoFundMe to help Rick, Julie, Jordan, and Kenzie with medical bills, care costs, rehab, and whatever else that will come along with Kenzie’s long-term recovery. Setting up this page requires a dollar amount for the goal. We don’t like the idea of goals because it creates pressure and expectations.
