Care for Kenley After Losing Her Mom

Donation protected
May 31, 1984 - March 16, 2026

Kristen was a devoted and loving mother to her daughter, Kenley (17), and a wonderful bonus mom to five children through her marriage. She married the love of her life, Barry, on May 3, 2025, and together they built a home centered on love, faith, and family.

Her daughter Kenley is on the autism spectrum and requires 24/7 supervision. Kristen was Kenley’s constant support, advocate, and caregiver, and the bond between them was incredibly special.

On Saturday, March 7, the unthinkable happened. Kristen stepped into the shower and suddenly collapsed. She was rushed to the hospital in Bristol, Tennessee, where doctors discovered multiple severe strokes caused by widespread blood clots throughout her body. Despite the tireless efforts of the medical team, the damage was too extensive. Surrounded by love and family, Kristen passed away on Monday, March 16, at just 41 years old. Doctors are still working to understand what caused the sudden clotting.

The family is now navigating unimaginable sudden grief while also working to ensure Kenley continues to receive the care and support, she needs every day. Loved ones have stepped in to help care for her, but long-term arrangements will require significant resources, including daytime caregiving support.

The community is rallying together to help support the family with:

• Daytime caregiving support for Kenley.
• Legal costs to help ensure Kenley’s future is protected.
• Unexpected funeral and medical expenses.

Any donation — no matter the amount — will help ease the burden during this incredibly difficult time and help ensure Kenley continues to receive the care she needs.

If you are unable to give, please consider sharing this fundraiser and keeping Barry, Kenley, and the entire family in your prayers. Your love, prayers, and support mean more than words can express.
