Our beautiful friend Kathleen has been fighting against breast cancer for the past ten years. Though it's been a long road, with ups and downs, we are fortunate to continue to have our sweet friend amoungst us.

 

Kathleen is in the most challenging phase of this journey and requires a variety of professional support. Some of these services are covered by insurance, but many benefits that would allow her to be more comfortable are not. Additionally, because of her health's seriousness, her family members are traveling from far away to be close by.

 

Her daughter, Heather, has been paying for expenses not covered by insurance but the totals are adding up. Plus she is a mom with two young children and her own complex health issues.

 

I have set up this funding request so that Kathleen's circle of friends who love and care for her can contribute in support of her and her family. The initial funding needs will be for caregivers, moving costs, hotel for traveling family members, prescriptions and other medical needs. Kathleen's daughter will be directing the spending.

Kathleen has always been a generous person. My best memories of Kathleen are of attending her house parties full of friends, food and fun. If you have the same good memories and want to show your love please consider giving generously. This initial goal will likely only be the start of the need.
