Dear friends, family and kindhearted supporters,

Our Family is walking through one of the hardest seasons of our lives. My brother Johnny Powers, is 64 years old and is Bravely battling end stage COPD and Atrial Fibrillation. His lungs are failing, and although a lung transplant plant was once considered his body is no longer strong enough to survive such a major surgery. He is a devoted father of two and a stepfather, and a proud grandfather. His grandchildren light up his world. He is also a deeply loved husband. His wife patty, has been by his side every step of the way, advocating for him managing medications, helping with oxygen and treatments and trying to carry the emotional weight of watching the man she loves decline.

As his health declines, Johnny now requires 24/ 7 care to remain safe and comfortable the cost, significant and include: Around the Clock caregiving support, ongoing Medical Treatments and Specialists visits, oxygen and respiratory equipment, heart monitoring, prescription medications, Medical supplies, household expenses due to the loss of income.

We're humbly asking for help, to provide professional 24/7 care so Johnny can be safe and comfortable and ease the burden on Patty so she can focus on loving him. Every donation, no matter the amount, we'll go directly towards ensuring that Johnny is surrounded by care, dignity, and love during this chapter of his life. As we prepare for the inevitable, Patty will also need support with final expenses and everyday living costs, having lost income to care for johnny.
