Hey gang!

If you don't know me, my name is Gigi Dutreix. I'm a surviving widow of the now passed away man, Kerry Ford. In the tragedy of this, Kerry had left behind one special piece left of himself: his Poodle, Jaque.

Jaque was raised by Kerry for almost 6 to 7 years and after Kerry passed away, the Dutreix family took up the mantle to take care of Kerry's precious dog. It's been a very rewarding few years with Jaque but a few months ago, Jaque had sprained his back leg and since then we have been in an ongoing fight to ensure Jaque does not develop sepsis.

Currently we have been pouring loans after loans to afford his back leg surgery, then to fight infection and diseases that come from his surgeries. Our veterinary hospitals do not offer us insurance and thus every single medical exam to medicine is forced to come out of pocket. Thus the goals listed below are to afford for both medicine, stays, and treatment.

I completely understand that the fundraiser goal amount is a lot. These funds are to keep these bills paid for 6 months, as that is the expected recovery time for Jaque's health according to our doctors. Vet bills are not cheap in America, sadly, especially long term treatment. If we can not reach our main goal, then the goal is to have funds for some of these options for his care. To reach this goal would guarantee Jaque will have the BEST fighting chance to recover and survive.
