Baby Graclyn's Leukemia Battle

"Since we’ve been at UNC we’ve had someone at our side the entire time. They ordered several labs and we had to get a second COVID test, even though the one from yesterday was negative.
Today is information finding and official diagnosis. More than likely it is Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia (ALL) but it could be Acute Myeloid Leukemia (ALM).
As of now, we’re not being poked or prodded anymore. Tomorrow’s procedures will be determined once her diagnosis comes back. The oncologist told me than more than likely she will get a lumber puncture, bone marrow test, and a port put in her chest for chemotherapy.
This is an absolute whirlwind. 24 hours ago she had a small fever and enjoyed putt putt and rainbow ice cream. If you call/text and I don’t respond please don’t be offended. Trying to keep it together and be strong for Graclyn. But I do see your messages and I feel the love and prayer being sent our way." -Lauren McCallum
