Dear Friends and Family, my son Dillon has been in the hospital pretty much since Thanksgiving and on Dec. 18 had surgery to remove part of his colon due to a serious infection caused by Diverticulitis. The surgery proved more difficult than originally anticipated and Dillon requires an ostomy bag for potentially up to a year. He will need six to 8 weeks to recover and is unable to work. Gary and I are doing our best to cover the cost of medical accessories that are needed to ensure sanitary care of the ostomy bag, but financial assistance is still needed to cover Dillon's living expenses.
