Care for Cutter
Donation protected
NEW UPDATE!!!! Because of the absolutely AWESOME friends, family and loved ones of Michael and Cara Cutter, we were able to reach our original goal of $10,000. (I seriously started bawling and almost wrecked my car when I casually looked to see the amount we had raised and saw a $3,700 donation!!) God is SO SO GOOD! Cara has been speaking to a company that provides private nurses and for the care they are needing it would be about $28,000 for a year, so I’ve raised the goal to $20,000. Again, thank you so much to everyone who has the Cutter family in their hearts. Happy happy birthday Michael Cutter!!!
UPDATE!!! We started this campaign to purchase a bed and nursing help two days per week for 12 hour shifts. GOOD NEWS! One of their loving family members has agreed to purchase his new hospital bed, but their needs are ever changing. There are supplies he needs along with nursing care, possibly more than 2 days a week. I will keep the campaign goal at $10,000 and stay in touch with the Cutters to get updates on their needs. Just like with the campaign to purchase the handicap accessible van last year, there were costs that came along that were not planned for (different buckle to accommodate his chair, etc), so I’m sure that will be the case with this campaign as well. Just be assured that all money goes directly to the Cutters and they will use as needs arise.
As SO MANY friends and family already know, Michael Cutter has been battling ALS since January 2016. Recently, Mike had to go to the hospital for 5 days. He shared with us that the stay made his body very weak, and his wife Cara admitted that his needs have changed and they would truly appreciate our help.
Please consider donating to the Cutters so they can buy a new bed (like the one used at the hospital) and home health care at least 2 days per week as insurance will not cover it (cost is $22.50 per hour and Cara asked for 12 hours continuous care twice a week). Mike now stays in his bed all day.
Mike’s 55th birthday is Sunday, June 2nd. Please show your love for Mike and Cara with a donation to ensure Mike can get a new bed and home health care twice a week. That, along with our love and continued prayers, is what Mike and Cara have asked for and most need at this time.

P.S. I want to make sure everyone knows that gofundme only charges a 2.9% credit card processing fee + 30 cents per transaction for donations given. The donations are sent directly to the Cutters’ bank account set up by Cara Cutter. All previous donations made to purchase the handicap accessible van were received and confirmed by Cara and Michael as well.
