Care for Chloe

Donation protected
On May 4th, 2020, 7-month-old Chloe went for a checkup at her regular pediatrician due to a hard, swollen stomach. Several scans and tests were done and it was determined Chloe had a very large tumor in her right kidney. She was sent to Children’s Hospital a few days later for surgery. Doctors removed her right kidney and the tumor, but little Chloe had a rough recovery as her bowels were hit during surgery. A few weeks later, Chloe’s parents received news that over 15 hospitals had looked at scans and that Chloe was diagnosed with Mesoblastic Nephroma Congenital Fibrosarcoma. Doctors requested further tests and scans and ultimately determined they had not gotten all of the tumor. At this time it was decided that chemotherapy would be the best treatment plan for Chloe. She will receive chemo once a week for 20 weeks, and will have frequent scans and blood work over the next few years to monitor any growth. Now 8 months old, Chloe had a port placed on Monday, July 6th and received her first chemo treatment the same day.

Chloe is a bright, happy baby and lives with her mother Morgan, father Nick, and five year old brother Carson in Buchtel, Ohio. The family will be required to travel over an hour for treatments a minimum of once a week. It is my goal to provide this precious family with some financial relief during this time, so their main focus can be with their sweet Chloe.
