Many of you know my beautiful sister Carrie, she has recently found out she has stage 4 cancer.

She has lived a very healthy life so this feels very shocking.

Her biggest concern is her kids. She is the most amazing mother and wants to make sure their needs are met before her own. She won’t be able to work right now so as a single mom she needs community now more than ever.

As her sister I ask 3 things….

1. Prayers for her complete healing. We know God is bigger and we have seen Him do miracles in our family! Tell everyone you know to pray because we know the power of prayer. Prayers for her 6 amazing kids too.

2. Post or send me any stories of those you know who had stage 4 and are doing great now. She needs all the hope!

3. Consider donating. Any amount of money even just a dollar, it adds up, could help greatly. I want to help take as much pressure off of her to not worry of how she will provide for the kids while she goes through this.

She has a large mass on her liver, PET scan showed cancer on her gallbladder and lymph nodes as well. Her lungs have been filling up with fluid making it very hard for her to breathe. She has had that fluid (about 2 liters) removed twice in the past few weeks. They are still unsure of primary location of cancer.

She has an appointment Monday the 20th with an oncologist in Atalanta (she lives in GA) to see what next steps are.
