As many of you know, on September 19, Bora was seriously injured in a car collision while traveling in Michigan. He remains hospitalized there, with his family by his side.

He suffered a severe traumatic brain injury and currently remains in a coma, hospitalized in the neuro-ICU with his family by his side.

Many friends and loved ones have reached out asking how they can help. We created this fundraiser to provide practical support for Bora and the people who depend on him during this incredibly difficult time.

With Bora hospitalized, the family is suddenly facing the loss of his support at a time when they are already dealing with so much.

Bora’s son has also put his own work and daily life on hold and relocated to Michigan so that he can remain close to his father and be there for him throughout his hospitalization.

Funds raised will help with immediate needs, including rent and basic household expenses, as well as travel, temporary living expenses and other costs associated with Bora’s family’s extended stay in Michigan.

Right now, the family’s focus is simply on being there for Bora and taking things one day at a time.
