Care for Best Mare

This is about our beloved Mim, Aunt Mim, Best Mare: Mary Hampson. As many of you know she was hospitalized for over three harrowing weeks, terribly ill, fighting a super antibiotic resistant infection that resulted in major surgery.  Best Mare is home now coping with life changing challenges and bearing a long recovery and eventual second surgery.  It will be a long road as we hope to have this all behind us by next spring.  The care, concern, love and support that just poured in for Aunt Mim was unbelievable. It's impossible to describe the depth of our gratitude.
     But of course, Mary is facing a whole other mountain of stress, impending medical bills! The total cost will be unimaginable and even though she has medical insurance, the out-of-pocket expenses will be staggering. It is not an easy step, to ask for your help. So many have asked what they could do and there's a gulp in the throat when we ask for money but the truth is that is really the thing that will be most helpful right now.  She has always been such a blessing in all of our lives, an amazing sister, a wonderful friend, a fabulous aunt, a super sweetheart.  So much to so many people. We will be profoundly grateful for any support you may be able to give her.
