Hi, I’m Selin, one of the organizers of Atelier Poiesis — an artist-run, non-profit project in Brussels that started at the beginning of 2026.

Our mission is simple: to create a place where imagination can flourish, people can come together through making, and a sense of community and belonging can grow.

We occupy a beautiful former blacksmith’s workshop at Boulevard Poincaré 30, which we are slowly transforming into a shared artistic workplace and small cultural space.

We open our doors through exhibitions, workshops, talks, performances and other public events, which we try to keep free or donation-based and accessible to everyone.

Why do we need your help?

Keeping an independent space alive also means taking care of all the invisible things behind it. We are raising funds for cleaning, repairs, lighting, toilets, maintenance, and shared materials and tools — the basics that allow us to keep the space running and open to the public.

Every contribution, big or small, helps us take care of the space so we can keep sharing it with others.

We’ll be back in September 2026 with more public events, more experiments, more encounters — and hopefully a slightly shinier Atelier Poiesis. ✨
