We are raising funds to support Ashley Shadley (Xu), a teacher at West Branch Early Learning Center, after an unimaginable loss.

Ashley is a familiar, caring presence throughout the center, helping in many classrooms and supporting countless children and families in our community. Weeks ago Ashley went into labor unexpectedly and required an emergency C-section. Her son, Fletcher Otto Xu, was born at full term, but due to complications, he passed away shortly after birth.

Ashley is now facing the physical recovery from major surgery while grieving the loss of her baby. No one should have to navigate such deep sorrow while also worrying about financial strain. This fundraiser is meant to ease that burden and allow Ashley, her husband Ming, and their older son Franklin the time and space they need to heal.

Funds raised will help cover:
