Hi, my name is Amanda Gray. I’m reaching out during one of the most difficult times our family has ever faced. James Hamilton the father of my children, Carter (13) and McKenna (10), passed away unexpectedly. This sudden loss has deeply impacted all of us, especially the kids, who are trying to process something no child should have to face.

Right now, my priority is making sure Carter and McKenna feel safe, supported, and given the time and care they need to grieve in a healthy way. They will need professional grief counseling to help them navigate their emotions, as well as stability at home while we adjust to this new reality.

Along with the emotional toll, we are facing unexpected financial burdens, including funeral expenses and everyday living costs. I’ve had to take time away from work so I can be fully present for my children during this critical period, which has made things even more challenging.

The funds raised through this fundraiser will be used for:

Funeral and memorial expenses

Grief counseling and mental health support for Carter and McKenna

Basic living expenses while I am unable to work full-time
