My name is Sondra Booth, and I am one of four children of Natalie Middleton. We lost our mother on July 16th after battling health problems since 2016. On July 5th, she was placed on hospice in her home with a prognosis of 2 months. Unfortunately, the hospice team could only provide care four days a week for about an hour each, which left many more hours and care needs unmet. I am a nurse at a local hospital and was incredibly honored to be able to step into this role of being her caregiver 24/7 for the last 12 days. I was able to take FMLA from my full-time job, but the circumstances are that I will not be receiving my wages for my time on leave. My family depends on my wages for daily living, and we cannot carry this financial burden. I have put my faith in God, and I humbly reach out to family and friends for any help they can provide. I have struggled with the idea of this option for funding, even though people continue to ask how they can help. Funding will also be used for keepsakes made with my mother's ashes for family members to have a piece of her forever. We appreciate all the love and support we have been shown from family and friends. Please continue to pray for peace in our hearts that she is now dancing in heaven.
