Hi, my name is Whitney Hunter and I am creating this GoFundMe on behalf of our family to support my beloved Nana, Helen.

Nana is 85 years old and currently on hospice. As her health has declined rapidly, she now requires 24-hour care to remain comfortable, safe, and surrounded by love during this difficult time. While hospice provides medical support, it does not cover continuous in-home caregiving, which has placed a heavy emotional and physical burden on our family.

My mother and uncle have been Nana's primary caregivers, providing around-the-clock care day and night. This is very taxing and we need additional help to ensue Nana receives the attentive, compassionate care she deserves - while also allowing my mom and uncle moments of rest and relief.

Unfortunately, hiring a professional caregiver to assist with overnight and daily care is more than we can afford on our own. We are reaching out for help to raise funds so we can hire a trusted caregiver to stay with Nana, ensuring she is never alone and that my mom and uncle can get the support they need during this time.
