Thanks for checking out my Go Fund Me page.  This year has been a tough one:  two health crises, cancer surgery and follow-up chemo, while  facing eviction from the home I've lived in and loved for almost 14 years.  All this has left me with outstanding debt, hardship and unable to return to teaching.  The silver lining is that I never knew how many kind, loving, generous, amazing and thoughtful people I had in my life until now.

I'm seeking help to cover my "recovery" gap until I can begin working full-time.  I look forward to returning to my teaching job as soon as I"m cleared for "take-off", and I can't wait to get the programs for my nonprofit, Jump Into Writing (jumpintowriting.org), up and running next spring.

I'm confident about the future, but, as they say, it's going "to take a village" to get me there.   The funds raised will help either to pay the back rent so I can continue to stay in my home, or to cover moving costs, as well as some living expenses while I'm recovering.
