Pre-Seed Startup Funding!

Hello friends and family!  For those of you who don't know me, my name is Marcus Clay Massok.  I'm a senior at Virginia Commonwealth University studying entrepreneurship and I need your help!

My team is made up of the following AWESOME people: Majid AlAshari, Ashraf AlGumaei, Jon Dyke, Wesley Bosman, Justin Artis, and James G. Walters.  We are working on a wearable device that will automatically get 911 to someone who has suffered a cardiac arrest.  This would be a priceless tool for the over 80 million people in the United States who have heart disease, a leading factor towards risk for cardiac arrest.  Nearly 300,000 people die from cardiac arrest every year, and we are looking to help reduce that number.  Unfortunately, I'm not able to tell you much more than that... and THAT is why I need your help.

I am looking to move forward with legal protection of our brand with copyright and trademark.  The costs of this will amount to right around $5000.  I am looking to raise $1500 to help get my team started with this process.  Any money raised in excess to this amount will go to future legal expenses as well as research and development money for our concept.  If we find an alternative means to guarantee this protection, all funds raised will be contributed to bettering our design and doing more research.

We are looking to raise this money as soon as possible!  Our goal is to have it funded by Friday of this week.  Anything that you can contribute is greatly appreciated!  Funding will help us get the ball rolling to making this life-saving concept a reality.  All I ask is that you share this for me!
