Carden Roy’s NICU Journey
Donation protected
Edited to add: since Carden came home on Thanksgiving Day, the Foxhall’s have been working to find a new normal for their family. Carden has been thriving at home on oxygen and Blakely has been loving on her baby brother like she’s his little mama! Now that things have seemed somewhat calm, a new storm has come to this young family. Blakely has become very sick with the RSV virus and has had three ambulance rides to Children’s Hospital with seizures and very high fevers. She was admitted into a room last night and is on an IV as well as breathing treatments.
This journey has been very expensive with ambulance rides, doctor visits, missing work, and juggling two babies who are currently being kept separated to keep the littlest one from getting this virus.
If you can help the Foxhall’s in any way, your help would be greatly appreciated. We mostly covet your prayers and are so very thankful for your calls, texts and well wishes.
On Monday, 8/14/23 Skylar stopped feeling baby moving and was having contractions every 10 minutes.
She went in to be monitored where several hours later the dr had to make the call to perform an emergency c—section. Their beautiful baby boy, Carden Roy was born 8/15/23 at 3:15am at 26 weeks 2 days gestation. Which is considered a micro premie. He is currently in the NICU and will most likely be there until his due date of November 19. With this, the Foxhall family will be having to manage finding help with their 2 year old toddler, sharing a car, going back and forth to the hospital, and an extensive and expensive NICU stay for their sweet baby boy along with gas and food expenses.
If you feel the desire to help out this sweet family at all with their situation, anything is more than appreciated. We also ask for everyone to be in prayer over their baby boy, and his NICU stay. We pray he is healed from anything not serving him, and cast out any sickness or illness in the name of Christ Jesus. We appreciate every prayer, text message, gift card, food order, etc. that is gifted to us during this unexpected time.
