Carbon Footprint Tracker & Carbon Offset App

Hi, my name is Richard and I have created the android app, Carbon Buddy, which allows you to estimate your carbon footprint and track your carbon consumption in real time. You can download the app from the Google Play App Store and try it out yourself.

Our planet is in crisis. The time to mobilize to avert catastrophic climate change is now. World governments and other national and international institutions clearly have not shown the will or capacity to meet this critical challenge. So it is up to us, as individuals, to act!

Carbon Buddy is a simple and efficient tool that allows you to estimate your carbon footprint, compare it to international averages, set a carbon footprint goal and in turn track and record your progress in real time. If you so choose, you can purchase carbon offsets directly in the app (no affiliation with Ragdoll Robotics). You can even get the latest climate related news directly in the app.

When the user of my app achieves a significant carbon goal, she will be rewarded with carbon credits. These credits can be used to purchase carbon offsets in a selection of climate projects. This feature of the app requires sponsorship. By sponsoring my app, the money you donate will go exclusively to carbon offsetting projects around the world. Your contribution to carbon offsetting will be enhanced since your sponsorship creates a motivation for others to decrease their carbon footprints.
