The Caravan Lounge in San Jose, California is a unique family-oriented establishment where hospitality is served, diversity is the welcomed mainstay, equality is paramount, and a platform for artists is promoted. Bev Ventura, owner and manager, and her staff created an oasis to friends, locals, regulars, street folk and artists, professionals of all ages and backgrounds, start-up bands, a variety of entertainment, and frequent drop-ins.

As many others unfortunately, it has become financially distressed by the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown.

This campaign was started knowing Bev would never ask for help nor initiate it on her own. The Caravan and its staff can’t survive indefinitely without us. Business expenses and employee necessities must be met to keep its heartbeat alive during the pandemic lockdown.

Federal, state, and local grants and loans have been explored or exhausted as a means of support. Now, we humbly turn to you. We understand what a difficult and uncertain time this is particularly during the Holidays. Also, we realize there are numerous people and campaigns in need. With your crucial support we can meet the challenges this campaign addresses: immediate business expense resources, staff well-being, and maintaining hope for the future of the Caravan family and community.
