Cara, our 13 year old daughter is currently fighting osteosarcoma for the second time. She was first diagnosed in October 2019 with a tumor on her left femur. She went through 9 long months of chemo along with a knee and partial femur replacement in January 2020. She was cancer free in July of 2020. She was so happy to start to get her life back and be a normal kid again but in February her doctors found a small nodule in her lungs. They were able to remove it but just 4 weeks later there were at least 8 more nodules and they were much more aggressive. She began chemo again for the second time in March. This time around her situation is much scarier as her prognosis is much more serious and more difficult to treat.
We have started this to help with traveling expenses back and forth to her hospital that is 3 hours away from where we live and for medical bills. We are thankful for any help, even if its just sharing our story. We are grateful for all of the prayers and support for our family.
