An important update from Mitchell Marquez,

As many of our friends and family know, Cara was diagnosed with Stage 3 Esophageal Cancer in May of 2025. Last week we discovered that her cancer has metastasized to her brain and her disease is now considered terminal. At this time, it seems that our treatment plan is shifting from fighting the disease to prioritizing Cara’s comfort and quality of life. We don’t know exactly how much time she has, but the doctors have been honest that she most likely has months left.

OUR FINAL ASK

Cara will be undergoing radiation to treat the current brain tumor while we simultaneously work to close her business. I am planning on going on leave from my work and as soon as Cara is cleared we will be living the rest of her life to the fullest. With that, our final ask is for financial support to help cover bills and expenses so that we can take Cara and I’s savings to travel and make memories for as long as we have left.
