Cara is tough, funny, and a loving friend and she is going through a really difficult time. In December, she underwent a stoma reversal. This first surgery has really taken a physical toll on her body.  She is in a massive amount of pain and has only been able to leave the house for visits to her doctor or the ER. To make it worse, the surgery did not work. 

Cara will now have to undergo another surgery very soon to make her ostomy permanent. This second surgery (just a bit over a month from the first) will require even more time in the hospital. 

Cara has had many surgeries over the last few years but this one and its failure have been particularly cruel both physically and emotionally.  With the pain and complications of the first surgery and the invasiveness of the second surgery, Cara will be unable to work. 

This shouldn't be happening but since it is we have to find a way to make this horrible period a bit easier and less stressful for her. Please donate whatever you can to help Cara make it through this time with less stress so she can rest and get the healing her body needs.
