My name is Andrea and I’m fundraising for my dear friend and business partner Cara Wickstrom.

In January Cara was diagnosed with triple negative breast cancer, which is a very aggressive form of breast cancer.

Cara is handling this battle with her signature grace, soft quiet self sufficience and badass attitude.

Having gone through the last couple months of chemotherapy, the time is coming for Cara to have surgery. Recovery will be long and more treatment will likely follow.

I don’t know how Cara has continued to show up day after day during treatment. She keeps showing over and over again what an amazing human being she is. With the biggest heart. She is a loving and supportive mom, grandma and friend. She will do anything for anyone. Now it’s time we do something for her.

Cara will be unable to work for an extended period of time (months) and as an entrepreneur and solo business owner, she doesn’t qualify for EI benefits. Battling cancer & recovering from surgery requires rest and peace - something that is hard to find when you are stressing about money.

Let’s come together to ease some financial strain for this beautiful, strong, sweet and kind woman. She deserves it and would never ask for it on her own.
