Our house is condemned because a speeding car lands on our home's roof. Driver is dead on arrival. We are extremely traumatized and have to find a new home. Insurance will cover a lot but it may take months to fix it and sell the house at a much lower price. We lose the $10,000 we put into the house , need to pay realtor $15,000 to sell it and will be lucky if we can sell the for $25,000 less than we paid for it a year ago if we can ever sell it at all.
