We're Out of Options — Please Help Us Get Our Car Back

My name is Terry Fields, and this is one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to write.

My husband has ALS — a cruel, terminal disease that has slowly taken everything from him, and from us. We were a two-income family with stable jobs and plans for the future. Now, we live off a small disability check and prayers.

We've been fighting to hold on — leaning on family, cutting every corner, doing everything we can. But ALS doesn’t care how hard you try. It keeps taking. It’s taken his strength, his speech, and now it’s threatening what little independence we have left.

Our only car was repossessed. Without it, I can't take him to doctor’s appointments, to get his medications, or even to get groceries. It’s not just a car — it’s our lifeline.

I stay home to care for him around the clock. If I could work, I would. But we can't afford full-time help, and he can’t be left alone. I never imagined I’d have to choose between being a caregiver and a provider, but here we are — stuck in a nightmare we didn’t ask for.

We need $3,200 to get our car back before it's gone for good.

I need to be able to get it by Aug 13.

I’m not someone who asks for help easily, but we have nowhere else to turn. Please — if you can give anything, or even share this, it would mean the world to us.
