Car Repair for Amy of Amiable Acres
Donation protected
For folks who do not know Amy, let me introduce you!
Amy Hershberger is a hard working woman who in addition to working a full-time job, dedicates her heart, soul, and resources to rescuing dogs. She is a very active volunteer for both ACDRA and NEBCR, Inc., she does not just foster a dog at a time. Amy has taken on several litters of herding breed pups on death row and their moms and successfully rehomed hundreds of dogs over the past few years (if not up to a thousand yet I'd be surprised!)
Anyways, Amy, who rarely spends anything on herself, is in dire straits at the moment. Her used car that still has a few more years of payments, has died. She needs a transmission. The main reason this car has died is probably due to the many, many, miles she drives each week to get these foster dogs to veterinary care.
To replace the transmission is a $6,000 expense that Amy just does not have the resources to do, having just replaced the roof in her home.
If you don't know Amy, please visit Amiable Acres on Facebook and you will see a glimpse of all that she does each and every day. She gives her heart and soul into these animals, can you please help just a little for this emergency?
Thank you to all who have read this far, even $5 will help us reach our goal to help Amy. Thank you again!
