Housing for Housing Insecure Working Woman

Donation protected
Please meet Lekeita  Smith who is extremely hard working while sleeping outside in San Diego. We have actively been looking for housing that she can afford for many months now

Once again after sleeping outside in the cold and rain Lekeita Smith still persists to get to #Work on time. She does not qualify for the High Risk Motel Rooms nor do we have Emergency Motel Rooms for Rain Weather. She takes care of her partner who is an Elder and waiting on his surgery and disability to come through when she is not at #work. I keep her work uniform in my car so that no one will steal it. This struggle is overly real and we are getting tired while we wait on #housing they can afford. The man who spit on her yesterday at Father Joe’s Village better stay far away from her today. That was absolutely unacceptable. We have been talking about the “spitting” on people during a Covid Pandemic for 10 months now.

We appreciate all donations  towards a temporary motel room for rain weather or permanent housing for Lekeita
