Car for 3 Ukrainian Refugees →
Donation protected
My name is Asta and my family owns Dom's Coffee in Avon, CT.
In August, my mother-in-law Gitana who (speaks Russian) overheard three young girls speaking Ukrainian at the grocery store in town, and asked if they needed work.
She learned that Zina, Anhelina, Albina had fled from Ukraine in May and are trying to put new roots down in the US. →
Last month Angelina started working at Dom’s Creamery and Zina and Albina started working at the coffee shop. The girls are ages 21-25 and their parents are still back in Ukraine with the rest of their families. We’ve found a place for them to stay, but they need transportation.
Dom’s Coffee will be assisting in the purchase and would love your help in buying them a car. We have been taking them back and forth to work, for the time being, but in order for them to start building their lives here, they'll need a car! A donation of any size is greatly appreciated.
Thank you!
