Car & Family items stolen in TN

!!! Dear Friends & Tennessee dwellers…
Our family desperately needs your help!!!
Yesterday afternoon, at approximately 1:40pm CST , within MINUTES of arriving into Memphis, my family’s newly purchased 2021 Nissan Rogue was STOLEN outside the Residence Inn by Marriott at 110 Monroe Ave., from the VALET area outside the main entrance—with ALL of our personal belongings inside including multiple weeks worth of clothes, food, baby toys and bedding, diapers, bottles, kids books, car seats/strollers, jewelry, souvenirs, electronics, and wallets, plus so much more!!

Upon arrival, even before we were able to unload a SINGLE bag from the Nissan, I myself, along with the valet driver, were approached by three black males (18-22 year olds) who were appearing to be soliciting basketball (camp) flyers; blissfully unaware they were scoping out our family vehicle, just waiting for a chance to TAKE OFF with it. My wife was inside the hotel checking-in, ——while The Valet driver had entered our vehicle and physically removed the key from the center console, but DID NOT shut off the vehicle—— As i am wrangling my one(1) year old daughter and five(5) year old daughter out of the car-seats, the mere second we turn to walk inside the hotel, one of those solicitors jumped in the driver seat and took off…with ALL of our belongings inside.

We are traveling from Colorado to visit family in Virginia for a few weeks on Vacation. We just
planned on passing through, staying only one night in Memphis to catch up on sleep. Marriott and Memphis Police have put in seemingly very limited efforts to track our vehicle or ensure a positive outcome —(it seems the GM of the hotel is blaming ME for leaving the car running. No direction was given by the valet to shut off vehicle and the valet driver was the last one in possession of our keys before the car was stolen.) —any lawyers reading this?

Our family’s entire livelihood was in that Rogue. Please help spread the word so my kids can sleep easy, now without their favorite toys, books or blankies. Our losses now prevent us from continuing our vacation.

Attached are photos of the vehicle and purportator (the hotel has further video of the ENTIRE incident, which they REFUSE to release to me).

We are at a loss at what to do and any assistance spreading the word would be greatly appreciated. Be safe out there everybody!

Sincerely,
(Andrew, Nicole, Izzy and Avery)
