Let's HELP STEVEN B Get A Car!
Many of you know the name Steven B from Facebook posts with devastating pictures of sick and injured dogs in Tijuana. He has devoted his life to saving as many as possible from death on the streets just south of San Diego.
Steven was in an accident on the freeway Thursday, 5/20, and his car was totaled. The accident happened right in front of him and he was part of the resulting pileup. He is okay, but his van is severely damaged and not worth repairing.
Steven works two jobs to keep his tiny apartment in south San Diego. He has got to have a car to get to work. He also uses his van for dog transport and donations of food and supplies for rescues in TJ. He picks up strays in San Diego County and gets them to a shelter, watching to be sure they are claimed, adopted or rescued. He never wants to accept gas money - he wants every penny to go to help dogs.
Well, this time the rescuer needs rescue. And his friends and family are unable to help.
This GoFundMe is to raise a down payment for Steven to get another car. He has helped so many people for so long at the same time he was helping dogs -- now he needs help.
And if anyone knows of a vehicle that is in running condition that he can get at a bargain basement price -- that would be a way to give him some peace of mind right away!
