Car crashed into community Barbershop

I am Cordell Miller, owner of Chop Nation Barber and Beauty, located in Nashville, Tn. I pride myself on creating and maintaining an environment for fellow barbers to thrive, while providing support and resources to my community, such as “ Back to school” drives , reading programs for the youth, seminars and pop up shops for entrepreneurs, and community service to a plethora of surrounding city schools and universities.

Unfortunately, I received a call on the day of March 22, 2023 that someone crashed into our barbershop leaving interior and exterior damages that will take up to a month to fix. Based on the accident happening on private property, I feel there was a huge neglect in how this situation was evaluated and documented. The driver, who seemed impaired, was not tested for sobriety and there was a lack of details of the interior damage left off the accident report by law enforcement.

For a long time I’ve been in a position to where I’m able to do a lot for everyone around me, so I’m not use to asking for help, however, I have a community to serve and they’re depending on me to bring Chop Nation back in a speedy recovery. To do so, comes with improvising. After talking to God, and understanding everyone that’s relying on me, I decided to put my pride to the side and ask for assistance.
