Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out with a heartfelt request to support a dear friend — a devoted single mother of two beautiful daughters — who is facing a series of life-altering challenges. She’s been through so much lately and is now in urgent need of community support to help her get back on her feet.

A few months ago, she suffered a severe foot injury that required surgery. Unfortunately, the first surgery didn’t heal properly, and the screws didn’t hold. She had to undergo a second surgery, where doctors placed a plate in her foot. But after that, she developed a dangerous infection, requiring yet another surgery to fix it. Now, she faces a fourth surgery, where the doctors will need to remove part of her ankle and reconstruct the damaged area.

After this upcoming surgery, she will be unable to walk for at least a month. This means she won't be able to work, and she’ll still need to care for her two daughters during her recovery.

As if this wasn’t enough, on August 15th, her car was struck by a drunk driver. The car is badly damaged and currently undrivable. Unfortunately, the driver had no insurance to cover the damage. In the crash, she also sustained a neck injury, and one of her daughters hurt her back as well.

Now, she is struggling to keep up with rent, utilities, medical bills, transportation costs, and daily expenses for her children — all while trying to heal and keep her family safe and secure.

This incredible, strong woman has always worked hard to provide for her girls. Now, she needs a helping hand from her community to get through this challenging time.

* Covering rent and utilities while she’s unable to work

* Medical costs for surgeries and follow-up care

* Repairing or replacing her car so she can get to medical appointments and provide for her children

* Everyday expenses (food, school supplies, etc.)
