Hi, my name is Stefanie Clark and I'm looking to get some assistance for my husband and I... Last Friday evening my husband and I were driving home from a card shop we frequent often to play card games with friends... On the way back home, someone had failed to yield the right of way causing my husband to maneuver hard to the right to avoid the car coming at us. In doing so my husband hit a stop sign/street sign... Air bags went off; car has been totaled. Husband called 9/11 and had me rushed to the hospital. I'm a bit bruised and banged up, my back hurts and it's a bit hard to walk, but he and I shall both live to see another day. So... more than likely insurance won't cover the cost of our car. The man who hit us admitted fault, but we are not lawyer savvy and we are not invested in the idea of ruining someone else's life for our personal gain. Regardless, our car is a 2002 Oldsmobile Alero.... We are trying to get around $23,000 in donations. We understand the car is old....and because its old the most we could get for it is around $2,000 ~ $3,000 for it. The car was in really good shape, and we had kept up on repairs....it was actually under 130,000 miles if you can believe it, but sadly that doesn't matter to insurance companies. We just need the money to get a reliable vehicle for my husband to make it to work safely. I have attached the crash report as well... I did however block out the names and locations for the safety of the person who hit us, as well as the safety of my husband. I have left my name though because I am the one making this post. I understand that there are a lot of fake posts out there, so I am trying to be as transparent as possible.
