Car and food funds

Hello, my name is Jay and I'm here to talk about why I'm raising funds to help me survive.

A couple of months back the head gasket of my vehicle blew out, while I was three hours away from home nonetheless, ever since I have been scraping by, only eating while I'm at work and barely able to stay afloat with my rent costs as well as other bills. I, thankfully, can walk to work and have been able to just get by, but I'm falling into a hole that I can't dig myself out of.

I need to get a new vehicle as soon as possible as repairs for my current car are too costly compared to the worth of the vehicle, as the car is 12 years old now. I need a minimum of 2000 to get a loan, even for a used vehicle at over 50,000 miles. with preference to putting down at least 3,500 to lower monthly costs.

The remaining 500 from this fundraiser, should I reach the goal, would be specifically for feeding myself as I'm lucky if I eat even just a snack daily. Since my car broke down I haven't made enough money to afford to feed myself when I'm not at work (I work in the food industry so when I'm at work I can eat if we mess something up or I get just enough tips to buy some food for myself).

This entire situation has been a detriment to my mental well-being as well as my physical health, I've been doing what I can, but at this point, I'm desperate and have realized I can no longer ride this out alone.
