Car Accident Recovery Fund for Miranda Young

Never in my life did I think I'd be in the position to need this. But here we are...

On Friday, June 6th, I was in a horrible accident (the kids were at daycare, Chris was working). I am not going to go into details on here, but my car is a total loss along with everything in it (and we had JUST put new tires on it...). Thankfully, I walked away with very minor injuries, and so did the other driver. I do (did?) have full coverage, but we all know insurance will pay out the least they can. I found out yesterday, everything in my car besides the car seats is not covered. Along with insurance not covering our personal items in the car, my job is not paying me for the 2 days I took off because I was forced to use all my sick time for maternity leave (and still had 13 unpaid days). That's a whole other story for another day. Times are tough in this economy and then you add this on top of it... I decided to reach out for help. Please do not feel pressured to donate, especially if you're in a hard place yourself, we will be okay! But if you have a couple bucks to spare, we will never be able to thank you enough.

Car tool set

First aid kit

And a few other things that aren't as important.

One thing I will never get back is my guardian angel visor clip. It definitely served it's purpose that day..
