Car accident & Covid

Hi my name is Oksanna, I'm an artist from Ukraine, Kiev living alone in Los Angeles. I had a bad car accident in April 2021 where I was take to the hospital with pre-heart-attack  condition. After a week of concussion and not working, I was able to bounce back and work more hours to keep up with extra rental car expenses I couldn't afford as my car was towed and unrepairable and my insurance policy did not include collision. Up until now I'm in a rental... My part of medical bills from that accident is $3,200 ( insurance and fire department) I am not able to pay that. I tried applying for financial assistance and never heard back. My case was denied by the lady who hit my car as it's her word against mine and there is no progress but another denial, so I did not get any money but left sick and without a car...

After I exhausted my self during the summer between medical offices, treatments on my days off and working overtime to keep up with my cr.cards, rent, new car rental and so on - and I feel I did a good job solo in LA at the pandemic time - in September I got Covid positive. I was in bed for over 5 weeks not able to move, thinking any moment it's my last breath, I did not think I will make it alive and I did! Thank God! Meanwhile I missed my commission checks for September & October, I used up all my savings just to pay rent/food...When finally I came back to work in November - my employer cut me to 3 days a week and least busiest days so basically - I got about 50% pay cut... that amount a month can barely cover my rent, without utilities...I tried asking for more days, no luck. (Well they did give me one time 3 extra days total in January, after the Holidays in another location). So I got a hosting job in a restaurant and I worked another 3 days with 1 day off a week. Then the hosting job cut me to 1 day a week, stating that other people need hours and I only work day shifts... I applied for over 30 jobs in retail and I only got one answer -it was a no... usually this process can take few months and at this point I realized I need to learn to ask for help. I grew up on my own since 15 years old and it is very hard for me to ask... I am responsible and I keep good credit to the best of my ability. I left - escaped 7 year domestic violence relationship with nothing - this is why I have credit card bills, my monthly payments are over 1k a month. I have dreams and I work hard, I am finishing up my last Kundalini yoga teacher training in 2 weeks to become an Academy level teacher. I thank you for your time. Blessings, stay safe and healthy.
