I’m doing this go fund me for my mom and I. My mom has never been in any accident before April 29th, 2025. That’s the day a man chose not to stop in the median and instead crossed 4 lanes of traffic (he was found at fault and ticketed) and my mom couldn’t stop in time and hit him as he tried to cross. Her car is totaled and she was sent to the ER with injuries that now need treatment. This day is also the day her soul cat/ our family cat for the last 10 years had her first seizure. We’ve have her since she was 8 weeks and she’s never had health issues before then. She’s having cluster seizures (shaking, urinating, etc.) and her brain isn’t getting enough time to recover (3 in 24 hours). We now have dealt with what could have been a more life threatening scenario for her in the accident and now her soul cat is struggling. I’m using my savings to take care of vet costs (and end of life procedures if necessary) as well as trying to get another vehicle so that she can drive to work and make a living. Her vet bills alone start at $1.9k and her car doesn’t exist anymore. So we’re asking for a little help (I’m going through health issues at the moment and have that financial burden as well, otherwise I wouldn’t ask for assistance) anything AT ALL helps it really does.
