The Charger Aquatics 505 swim team is raising money to purchase two new starting blocks for our facility at the Betsy Patterson pool.  Our old blocks were unexpectedly removed a year ago after they were deemed to be unsafe.  A good racing start is an integral aspect of competitive swimming.  As a team we've been renting space at different pools over the past year to try to get our swimmers time to practice their racing starts.  This summer we've decided to try to raise funds to buy new blocks so that we can provide our swimmers with more access to diving practice!  Our swimmers are working very hard to accomplish their group set goals for this fundraiser.
