The Caputo family have been members of the Silvan community for a long time and sadly on Thursday 27 August their crops and Igloos were destroyed by the wild storm.
Due to the fact that the Igloos are not a permanent fixture on the farm, unfortunately they are not covered through their insurance company and they have to fund the recovery themselves. In addition to the recovery costs, the Caputo family will also endure at least 6 months worth of loss of income.
For those who know the Caputo family, in particular Charlie, the heart beat of the Silvan Cats Football Club, we know that asking for help is not something that they would do on their own accord, but we also know that they are always willing to help out others and now it’s our turn.
