Help Us Recreate the Moment That Sparked a Global Movement — Support the Louis Marchesi Reenactment Film
On 14th March 1927, in the heart of Norwich at Suckling House, a young man named Louis Marchesi held the first official meeting of what would become Round Table. His vision was simple yet powerful — to create a club where young men could come together to make a difference, build friendships, and serve their communities.
What began as a single meeting grew into something far greater.
From that moment, the Round Table Family was born — inspiring the creation of Ladies Circle, 41 Club, and Tangent. Together, these organisations have shaped lives, created lifelong friendships, and impacted communities around the world.
Now, nearly 100 years later, we’re working with Lambda Films, a professional Norwich-based production company, to recreate that historic meeting on film. This project will offer a moving insight into why, how, and where it all began, preserving Louis Marchesi’s vision for future generations to experience and be inspired by.
Thanks to early support from businesses, worldwide members, and generous individuals, we’ve already raised almost half of our target. But we need your help to bring this important piece of history to life.
Every donation counts — no matter the size — and every donor will be proudly credited in the finished film as a token of our thanks.
Join us in honouring the legacy of Louis Marchesi, and help us tell the story of how one idea in Norwich changed thousands of lives around the world.
Thank you for supporting this meaningful and lasting project.
