Captain Timothy Stackpole Foundation

Hello, the goal of this page is to fundraise for the Captain Timothy Stackpole Foundation. We will be running the 126th Boston Marathon on April 18th, 2022. Our team includes TJ Stackpole, Zac Bailey, Sean Kelly, Ben Johnston, Conor McNerney, and Shane Murray all United States Marines with 2nd Battalion 5th Marines. We will run in memory of Captain Timothy Stackpole, who sacrificed his life to save others on September 11th, 2001.

 

Captain Timothy Stackpole Foundation: Mission Statement

 

Our foundation will reflect the beliefs, dedication and spirit of its namesake, Timothy Stackpole, who believed it was our God-given mission that in times of trouble, grief, sorrow, trial and disaster, each of us has an obligation to reach out to help others, in any way we can.

 

Our mission is to build a legacy of small acts of kindness where need arises, providing the gifts of our talents and resources, and bring hope when a hand reaches out in need. The spirit of Timmy Stackpole will be mirrored by the diversity of acts of kindness this charity can accomplish.

 

The Stackpole Foundation believes in reaching out to families who find themselves in need due to illness or injury or hardship to try and help them through a difficult time. The Foundation supports several scholarships in Timmy’s name that go to students who work hard and give back to their communities. Events held during the year help stock food pantries and several hundred Thanksgiving dinners are supplied to those less fortunate every year. We proudly support various fundraisers for our military, police and firefighters both active and retired. A true grassroots organization that operates on small acts of kindness done with great love in the spirit of its hero namesake.
