Terry and wife Donna Hyatt moved to Goree, Texas to live out their retirement, after 30 years as a commercial ship captain Terry finally docked his boat and headed to Goree, Texas. Terry became ill about a year ago and was finally diagnosis in March with Invasive Adenocarcinoma Stage IIIB, which has reached 7 lymph nodes, with a unrelated mass on his prostate. Between the chemo infusion that started on May 17th in Lubbock, Texas , and oral chemo twice daily, things are beginning to stack up. The Hyatts' raised money to buy a slide in camper for their truck , in order to stay at the hospital camping space , in case Terry needed to stay close to the hospital and doctors. But then again there was cost for the space, eats and medications the insurance was not covering. When possible Terry does get to come home between treatments and Donna can take care of the needs at the home front. Terry and Donnas' combined retirement puts them out of the range for government assistance, so if you feel it in your heart to help Terry and Donna out , please donate so they can continue to pay for the medical help the insurance is not covering, and the fuel bill that is running them right at $100.00 a trip (one way) to Lubbock. As we all know the other bills still continue come also .......... and life can sure get tough especially when your sick.
