Captain Seth 10-13

Captain Danielle Seth started her career with the NYC Department of Correction on August 12th, 2004, and was promoted to the rank of Captain on October 11th, 2013. For those that have had the pleasure to work with Captain Seth, she has been there to assist you and render assistance whenever help is needed.

Unfortunately, on Saturday, July 10th, 2021, Captain Seth was subject to being the supervisor during a red alert. At approximately 4 a.m., Captain Seth was ordered by the on duty Tour Commander to report to housing area 3C. Upon arrival, Captain Seth was informed by the Tour Commander that an inmate in the area may have escaped. Captain Seth immediately conducted a tour of the housing area and observed that the cell was empty with the window frame was removed. The on duty Tour Commander was then immediately notified. Captain Seth has since been suspended without a return to duty date.

During this Departments darkest hour and amidst staff doing triple and even quadruple tours overwhelmed with overtime, countless staff sitting on post with no meals, staff of all ranks being assaulted, Captain Seth still continued to come to work.

Uniform members of service of ALL ranks can fall victim to these unfortunate events. Please assist in supporting Captain Seth in her time of need.
