Captain Kirk, Uncle Kirk, Brother & Friend!  He is the Rock of the rest of our family!

Kirk was diagnosed with colon cancer running on six months ago and lung cancer just recently.  Kirk had surgery to remove the cancer in his colon two weeks ago.  He is going to have his lower lobe removed on his left lung on Friday.  There will be chemotherapy and radiation to follow.

Kirk has been a Steamboat Springs Ski Town local since his twenties and has honored the locals, the tourists and his community with the gift of his humble, loving, hilarious Soul & Song!  Kirk is one of those local artists that brings you back to the "Day"!  His smile is contagious, his heart is gold and his music exemplifies why he and anyone, for that matter,  lives in Steamboat!
